LAYER ONE: THE OUTSIDE
- Name: mary
- Eye Color:  kind of medium brown?
- Hair Style/Color: VERY VERY CURLY, medium brown (originally), though it’s currently a dark brown (a fix-it), though i really wish i could just keep it crayon red.
- Height: 5’5”ish
- Clothing style: it depends on my mood?  sometimes, i look like a total hipster in skinnies and weird vnecks and stupid things; sometimes, i wear crazy dresses and look like a hippie; sometimes, i go back to my roots and wear jeans that are ripped to kingdom come with band tshirts and wild makeup.
- Best physical feature: people always tell me my hair.  i definitely agree.

LAYER TWO: THE INSIDE
- Your fears: BUTTERFLIES.  THEY’RE FUCKING TERRIFYING.  also moths and most things with wings that are birds, and spiders, man.
- Your guilty pleasure: miley cyrus, the jonas brothers, britney spears, the lifetime channel.
- Ambitions for the future: i need to get published or i’m just going to find a mountain and never go out in the daylight again.  i will become gollum.

LAYER THREE: THOUGHTS
- Your first thoughts waking up: can i go back to sleep?  i need a monster asap.
- What you think about most: what i’m going to write next.
- What you think about before bed: what i should write the following day.
- You think your best quality is: my taste in music, i guess.  also that i love kids to pieces, and working with them has been the most life-changing experience in the best way.  and probably that i actually listen when people talk to me and care about what they say or get excited with them unlike some people i know.

LAYER FOUR: WHAT’S BETTER?
- Single or group dates: single.
- To be loved or respected: if they love you they’ll respect you.  (definitely keeping that answer)
- Beauty or brains: both.
- Dogs or cats: cats, always.

LAYER FIVE: DO YOU?
- Lie: uhm, sometimes.  not usually, but when i feel it’s necessary.
- Believe in yourself: quite a bit, actually.  i didn’t for a very long time, and then i learned to, and i owe it all to buddhism.
- Believe in love: yes, very much so.
- Want someone: yes

LAYER SIX: EVER?
- Been on stage: no.
- Done drugs: no.
- Changed who you were to fit in: kind of, but not drastically, and not for long.

LAYER SEVEN: FAVORITES
- Favorite color: blue, green, and silver.
- Favorite animal: cats, always.
- Favorite movie: I ALWAYS HATE THIS QUESTION.  lord of the rings: two towers, and i’m going to leave it at that, though there is a long list of seconds.
- Favorite game: i honestly don’t play games, but i’ve always loved guitar hero.

LAYER EIGHT: AGE

- Day your next birthday will be: i have no idea.
- How old will you be: 22.
- Age you lost your virginity: 17.
- Does age matter: yes and no.  it depends.

LAYER NINE: IN A BOY OR GIRL
- Best personality: fun, talkative, interested in fantasy (literature/film/tv/etc), curious about my writing, adventurous, likes mountains (hiking them, not just looking), loves music, not shy, probably more things.
- Best eye color: green.
- Best hair color: brown or black.
- Best thing to do with a partner: cuddle and sex, honestly.

LAYER TEN: FINISH THE SENTENCE
- I love: to write more than anything in the world.
- I feel: very thirsty right now, even though i keep drinking water.
- I hide: myself from everyone until i know i can trust them.
- I miss: my baby cat, peter.  he’s only one, and he’s been missing for a month.
- I wish: three o’clock in the morning never ended because i’m most creative then.
